Raquel told me that she "intensely" loved the chapter "Thank God, I'm a Country Boy" because Mark wanted to be like his sisters and brothers.

My students in this elective are focused and seem to truly enjoy getting to know Mark. I sense that they are beginning to better understand those with special needs.

I am teaching an elective titled "Tell Your Own Story" using my book as a sample memoir. After reading and discussing the book, students will write about someone special in their lives using "photostory", a free microsoft software program.

Mauricio is reading from "Last To Leave Home". He particularly enjoyed reading how thankful Mark was after he received a 50th birthday party.
